Promote and encourage development of State Parks in Montana. Montanan's love the outdoors but we don't spend enough money and attention on our great State Parks.
In recent years, I association the US Chamber more than anything with fighting urgently needed action on climate change. At every level, the Chamber should be providing leadership for the necessary transition to a post-fossil fuel economy. Particularly in a fossil fuel-oriented economy, denying the inevitable shift only damages our long term prospect to make a successful transition for Montana and the region.
Support legislation to loan local governments funds while tax protests are pending.
Billings does a great job of offering family friendly events and happening, but there are not many things in town to do for adults in their 20s. Most of the city hosted events target young kids and their parents, and as a city with two colleges I would like to see Billings cater to that population as well.
Billings should have more streets that are like Shiloh Road and Zimmerman Drive. Those streets are amazing. When people visit us in Billings, we make sure to drive them down those two streets. Everyone always says "there is nothing like this in Missoula or Bozeman or Great Falls". Those two streets are impressive and demonstrate that Billings is the place to be.
