Governor Bullock has issued a statewide mask order this afternoon in an effort to slow the spread of COVID-19 cases in Montana.
The order requires wearing a face covering over the nose and mouth and applies to all counties in Montana with four or more active COVID-19 cases, including Yellowstone County. It applies to indoor business settings that are open to the public and outdoor gatherings with 50 or more people when physical distancing is not possible. This Mask Directive goes into effect immediately.
The Mask Directive also states that all points of entry open to the public must have a clearly visible sign posted stating: “Mask or face covering use required for ages five and older.” You can download a printable poster for your place of business HERE.
