A Message from our 2023-2024 Ag Committee Chair Jennifer Sayler
To say I was blinded sided when I was asked to be the Vice Chair of the Chamber Ag committee would be putting it mildly…but I truly never intended on being the “chair.” It has been an incredible two years of leading this outstanding group of members who are the heart and soul of Montana! With the encouragement of a few long- time respected leaders on our committee I accepted the chair position.
I believe it is our responsibility to bridge the gap between the urban and rural footprint and inform, along with educating everyone who participates or would like to participate in our committee and events.
The intent behind every Ag event is connection! Starting the new year highlighting Montana’s number one industry, with a full week of educating, integrating other committees with tours and events and rounding out the week with the Chamber Ag banquet is pure joy with an abundance of gratitude.
Throughout the year this committee’s dedication to early morning pancake breakfasts with 4-H and FFA young leaders, to a full day of stops on the Ag Tour are a few of the impressive events we do to serve our community.
I highly encourage you to start your day with the Ag committee and join us on the first Friday of each month! You are guaranteed to leave with an ag fact or two and quite possibly a new acquaintance that’s sure to be a forever friend.
If you see me out and about, please stop and introduce yourself. As I love to say…appreciate every hand you shake…you never know where it might take you!
