We need a new museum similar to the Museum of the Rockies in Bozeman. A large museum that focuses on the Yellowstone Valley and incorporates all groups that shaped our city. A museum that has extensive native exhibits, gun exhibits, railroad exhibits and so forth. A great place would be on top of the Rims like Swords Park. Maybe we could expand the small log cabin museum that is already on top of the Rims. It would be a great attraction and would have the best view of our great city!
Billings should significantly expand its trail system. This would make Billings a much more attractive tourist destination. The River's Edge Trail is wonderful, but it needs to be connected with other trails and it needs a parking lot off of Mary Street. It would be wonderful to extend the trail farther along the Yellowstone. This is a real gem of a trail.
Natural history museum of yellowstone valley. One hundred thousand visitors per year at ten bucks sack. Twenty to fourty million dollar facility Private funding
Large brown interstate attraction signs like Bozeman, butte, Helena. Five museums, historic district, scenic rimrock drive
The Billings Gazette has it right--trails improve our community and make it a more attractive place to live. As we try to recruit new doctors, engineers, lawyers and other professionals, a good trail system makes it easier. Trails make Billings a better community and are critical to our continued growth.
Billings needs a new sports complex with an aquatic center, gym, and skating rink. Go big or go home Billings.
Signage on the interstate. Huge brown attraction signs. Like Bozeman butte Helena
Billing should use and develop the area around Yellowstone River more. Parks, trails, and a folf course would be great additions.
