More public art.
Please finish the inner belt loop connecting Wicks Lane with Highway 3 and Zimmerman Trail. Please include a multi-use trail the entire distance and then from Zimmerman to Swords Park. This will give Billings a real trail system and much better connections to the Heights. The Inner Belt Loop needs to become a priority.
I would like to see a network of skybridges in downtown. We have had a lot of pedestrians hit crossing streets. Skybridges would be safer. Skybridges would also make it easer to get around downtown in the winter.
More trails! More trails! Connect the trails!
Billings need more parks and green spaces. Even little half acre parks add a lot to a neighborhood. I would like to see a lot more pocket parks.
We should have a park between Metra Park and downtown. A green space would attract new business and condos. We need more green downtown.
I would like to see more landscaping along our bike trails. Some additional trees and bushes would make them so much better.
It is sad that Bismarck, ND takes greater pride in landscaping and overall beauty of it's medians along I90. It's tiring being compared to Bozeman and Missoula in terms of beauty and being picturesque Montana cities. Frankly we don't have the mountain backdrops they do....but we do have the Yellowstone and the Rims. Our landscape is more similar to Bismarck, yet upon returning from a recent trip there it is shocking how much nicer their section of I90 is than ours. Please consult with our neighboring cities to see how they do it and implement a plan to beautify our city along the interstate.
Continue with trails committee and develop parks.
Showcase our park system and facilities.
