Quality of life never more important than when recruiting workforce. Stay current and push to improve quality of life.
Help us define what is best for Billings.
Redevelop downtown.
Enhance/build parks and trails.
Baseball fields.
More family fun events vs the many drinking events Billings offers now.
Expand city busses for the areas that don’t have school busses. Particularly in the heights where kids have to walk a mile and a half one way.
Before school programs similar to the many after school care programs for kids. Some sort of safe environment so that parents can drop them off before having to go to work and not worry about them walking to school.
Think about how the community looks and feels to a newcomer. Invest more in the arts organizations and invest more in city clean-up and beautification (park maintenance!). Think about how it all coordinates. Think about the approaches to town (currently some of the ugliest in the state).
Watch the crime stats - Without a police force to deal with the growth, we could rapidly lose our status and future growth. Support the upcoming Public Levy and understand and communicate what it will mean if it doesn't pass.
